DECEMBER... SO FAR...

ok.. here is December so far....

So at work I am in charge of decorating the

bulletin board.. so here is the December board

I think it turned out cute

Each snow flake has a workers name on it.

here is our Christmas card that we sent out!

Kasons Aunt Tami got sealed in the temple to her husband

It was our first time in the Las Vegas temple

and it is SOOO BEAUTIFUL!

I loved it!! Can't wait to go back!

The sealing was so touching because you could tell they both

had wanted this moment to happen for a long time!

Congratulations Benny and Tami!!

We are so happy for you two!!!

While we were in Vegas for the sealing, we went shopping

and went to the Hoover Dam, it was a FUN fun trip

except for Kierra (Ka-kas friend)

Ok.. NOW NOVEMBER...

Here is what we did in November...

Kason had softball!!

and whoever had the idea to play

softball in the winter.. should get checked!

it was FREEZING!

one night it was only 20 degrees!

And I'm the loving wife who goes and watches

her dear husband play!

We took family pictures with my mom and Michael!

I was offered a job to take pictures with TSS photography!

Which of course I said yes to!

TSS photography does all the high school, college and

little league sports!

So now I have THREE jobs

holy sha-moly!

I learned so much

one of my favorite things that I learned

was to take night shots

so here is one of the temple.

My sister in law, Erin, is pregnant with her FIRST GIRL!

So I made baby Peyton two bow holders

(the first two pictures)

with some bows I also made her.

I am excited to see Peyton wear them!

My little niece Maesi was blessed

Cory did such an awesome job!

It was a beautiful blessing!

Kas pretty much came with the bed and tons of LOVE, haha

It always makes me so thankful for everything we have!!

Lisa Holt made it, and I just LOVE IT! Its soo cute!

I bought matching fabric

so I can make stockings AND a blanket!

Now October.....

Ok, ok, ok... here goes October

I made about... three tutus

one for my sister

one for my sister in law

and one for my photography business

I also saw the idea for the pumpkins online

so I thought I'd try it, and I love it!

I also made one of my ribbon flower balls for

my little niece's room. I will have to

get a picture of that and post it later

I also took a photography class by Rex Winterton

I learned a lot of new things and have been taking a lot

of pictures to practice the new information I have learned

Kas is always my model and a SUPER FINE one at that :)

 

I also had some photoshoot in October

They have kept me busy, for sure!

My little niece, Maesi, was born on October 14th

and she celebrated her first Halloween!

She was a little pea pod!

Look at how cute she is!!

Oh man, I just LOVE HER!

For Halloween AND the playoffs

 we carved an Angels pumpkin..

I accidently deleted them off my camera, but I do

have one on my phone if anyone wants to see it,

it was AWESOME!

my handy husband carved most of it

I just traced the A on

the first Halloween we were together we

carved a Denver Broncos pumpkin

and a Green Bay Packer pumpkin

and made carmel apples..

but I think we lost our touch on the carmel apples

because the carmel just slid right off our apples,

so we had to eat them quick!

Cali Trip!

Ok, so I know this trip is back from the end of September

BUT....

better late then never!

We took off to California to visit Mike, Erin and the boys.

Right now Carter loves pirates so we put together a little treasure hunt

here are the boys in there pirate gear!

the clues were in old rootbeer bottles,

and each clue had a little present for the boys.

the boys had to follow the gold coins to the next clue,

which was US!

It was so fun to watch them sword fight, I don't think I've

laughed that hard for a long time. Those two are by far too cute!!

When we were there we also went to the Angels game!

I had such a great time! We can't wait to go back!

but it broke down when we were in line and Kas

we had a BLAST!!! We can't wait to come down again, SOON!!

Finally!

My sister was released from the hospital Friday night

so on Saturday, me and Kas went over so we could

see and hold our new little niece!!

I love her soo much!!

I didn't want to go because I love holding her

and watching her sleep!!

I did have to wear a mask around her though

because I have a sore throat, and some white bumps

so we don't know if it is strep or not.

but I did take my mask off for these pictures.

She has my heart wrapped around her finger already!

I love little Maesi!

i told him, lets have a baby

but the answer is still "not right now"

which I agree with, but how can seeing that

not melt your heart!

Through The Glass....

because of the swine flu, the hospital allows

NO VISITORS!!

only TWO people are allowed to be behind the maternity doors

This new rule broke my heart!

I just want to be able to hold my little niece already!

My sister could possibly get out today, so I might be lucky!

I asked my mom if she would ask the nurse if we

could look through the glass of the nursey, and that was allowed!

THANK GOODNESS!!

STUPID SWINE FLU

OH HOW I HATE YOU!

In Her Own Words...

"...So cory and my mom stayed with me all night and we kept on the doses to help induce me. Early in the morning I started to feel contractions that were getting hard to breathe through and particullary to my situation I do not have any pain tolerance so this was very hard for me. I yelped for my mom to tell her that the pains were more than i could handle. We got the nurse in there and she called dr chamberlin and he said that I could get the epidural, though I was just dilated to a three, so I tried my best to breath through the contractions with my mom's help we got the antheisloglist in there and he put my epidural in, which turned not to be as bad as I thought. Pretty soon I could not feel my legs and felt like a wet noodle but least I could not feel the contractions. So we still were just waiting for my cervix to open more, about two thirty or so they decided to start me on a little dose of pitocin so getting everything all ready we were just doing our thing and the nurse decided to check me previously before I believe I was about 4 +, so the nurse checked me and said in a stern tone will you press that call light. Within seconds of that call light being pushed I swear every nurse was in my room pulling the IV together and taking me out of the room, Next thing you know I was heading into the operating room hearing that my baby was coming face first with her chin up. I started to bawl because it freaked me out and scared me. There were so many nurses telling me it is going to be all right one was putting the santize stuff on me before surgery and i didn't know where Cory or my mom was. I started to feel really sick like I was going to throw up and next thing I know I see cor all gowned up sitting next to my head. We had a great team of drs and nurses in there to help deliver Maesi I heard her cry and knew things were going to be alright, they rushed her into another room and I guess her head was pretty cone headed and her hands and feet were blue. When they brought her over to cor and I her pore eyes were so swallon but she looked so precious. I could not believe she was our daughter and she was finally here. Threw all the tugging and pressure they gave me a medicine to help for twelve to eighteen hours well what ever it was knocked me out completly and Iwas so dozed off when they brought her over when i was in recovery. I didn't even remember being moved to the mom and baby floor. I remember waking up early in the morning not quite remembering what was going on, feeling some soreness in my lower gut. once I came to realize what had gone on and where I was they had me start to pump and she surprised me and brought Maesi in, I just started to lose it cause she is so cute and just a precious little one. my love for her just was endless and felt so blessed that God would bless me with such a sweet innocent little girl. So today was learning new things and just enjoying holding my little girl. I cannot wait for the many experiences I have with her!....."

It was a rough start for little Maesi

but all I can say right now is...

I ALREADY LOVE

HER SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!

Here we go.....

Ok, ok, ok.. so we decided to keep the blog.

I might not do as many posts though.

So for right now, I will catch you up on the past two months

but please.. no blog stalkers,

or copy cats that claim my ideas are their own idea

so here we go...

take a deep breath because its long!

September

- My sweet hubby had his birthday. He got spoiled this year!

I got him, his own bucket of baseball,

chuck full with 5 DOZEN baseballs

I also got him 14 of the Angels baseball cards,

an Angels door mat, and Madden 2010.

His parents, my dad and trish gave him some money.

My mom and Michael gave him a dutch oven,

and a dutch oven cook book.

My sister and Cory made him a Angels fleece blanket.

-Our house was a day salon one weekend.

My mom, as you know,

is a stylist, so she got me some hair dye and developer and

taught me how to mix it up.

So one Saturday Kas dyed my hair,

the bottom layer dark brown, and the top layer red brown.

He did a great job! Then as usual I cut his hair.

So feel free to come over, we'll do you hair!

(and I am just going to say how much I love Kas, he is always willing to help me no matter what. And he is willing to learn how to do something new in order to help me. Love ya bay bay)

- My mom, Bonnie ( my sister MIL)

and I threw a baby shower for

my sister, Terran. I made the invites (^^above^^)

(and blocked out info you just don't need to know, haha)

-My sister got so spoiled at her baby shower!

And I do have to throw it out there..

my MOM MADE that blanket right there!!

She has some MEGA, MEGA talent.

She actually sells her blankets, so if you want one

let me know! I'll have her contact you!

-We helped move my sister and

Cory into their new cute house!

We had about 3 trailers, and tons of Terran/Corys friends,

my dad, and us. We moved a whole house, pretty fast.

-Kason and I re did this dresser for my sister.

I didn't get a before picture, but it was just plain wood.

Kason sanded it, and I painted it!

Terran wanted it to match the bedding (see below)

and I think I did a good job at matching it!

It really looks like it is apart of that bedding set.

I think me and Kas did a great job!

We make a good team :)

- My dad and Kas played on the same softball team
so we had a lot of games to go to.
I love watching them play softball together!
I think next season, we are all going to do
co-ed softball, I can't wait!!


- My dad also went out of town for the weekend
and I got to drive the jeep.
I was a little nervous at first
since I haven't drove stick for over 2 years.
But Kas said thats a skill you never lose, and he's right!
It felt like I was back in high school!
Good times in that jeep!



- My most favorite teacher in high school, Mrs. Barnum,
asked if I would do her family pictures!
I had a good time, and got some fun shots of her cute family


-My sister in law Kasey celebrated her birthday also,
I still need to make her a cake, I'm slackin


-My dad celebrated his 50TH BIRTHDAY this month
We were going to do a surprise party for him,
but he found out, and didn't want one
(party pooper, I know!)
He looks pretty dang good for a 50 year old!


- We had my mom and Michael over for dinner one weekend.
We had a blast playing games, and laughing!
It was a great night! And provided inside jokes for a lifetime
"head smelly!"



- We went to California the last weekend of the month,
here is a little teaser to get you by

August

- We made it a goal to go to the temple EVERY WEEK,

and we did it!

We made sure we didn't miss our temple night each week.

It was a great experience. We are trying to go 2-3 a month

(I took this picture one night when it was stormy outside, I love it!)

- We had our one year anniversary,

and went to Vegas to get away.

We stayed at The Orleans,

which I recommend to anyone and everyone!

We didn't save the top of our cake

because we both knew we wouldn't eat it,

so I went to 25 main, since she is the

one who made our wedding cake

and bought a dozen of chocolate cupcakes,

just like our wedding cake

- We watched tons of Angels games, since a while back

we switched our tv service so Kas

would be able to watch all of the Angels games.

-My mother in law, and brother in law Ryan celebrated their birthdays in August.
I made Pauline this cake, and made Ryan a Texas Sheet Cake


- Kas started school, and I am SOO PROUD of him! He is doing awesome!



-One day after work Kason surprised me with two presents,
this cute purse I had been wanting, and also 101 cookie cutters!
He is so good to me!


-My sister was in the hospital with gall stones for about a week.
She is now on bed rest so the gall stones don't cause her any problems,
which would make her go into labor faster, which we didn't want at the time

on monday the 27th, it was my dear sisters birthday

we celebrate on tuesday at my moms house

softball mondays

this year my dad asked Kason to play on his city softball team,

and of course Kas said yes,

since he his orignal team never signed up

I am excited to go watch them because

I love my husband, and I love my dad,

and I love to see them get along, and interact with each other!

Kas has only played one game, but he has told me he likes this team so much better.

For the 24th of July, kas, me and Brolin

decided to go up to Lehi to visit Chad.

The day we got up there we went to raging waters.

It was nice weather, and not too busy!

They had two crazy slides that we conquered,

and have tons of fun in the wave pool.

Later that night we went to celebrate Chads birthday at

Texas Roadhouse. My camera died, so these pictures were

taken with my phone, I know, they are not the best.

wendover

On Friday we took a "PaRtY BuS" with Chads brother

and sister in law, and uncle.

It was pretty interesting, but so funny.

The people on that bus cracked me up!

We both have never been to Wendover,

and it was alright, felt like Mesquite.

Kas did pretty good, won us a nice amount of extra money,

while I lost all of mine.
